The Ibanez GA621-BOT Black Out combines traditional classical guitar design with modern stage-ready features. As a full-size (4/4) concert guitar with an elegant cutaway, it offers comfortable access to the higher frets and is aimed at players who appreciate both flexibility and style. The use of laminated tonewoods ensures stability and a balanced tonal character, making the instrument suitable for practice as well as live performance. Thanks to the built-in Ibanez pickup system, the guitar is ready for amplification and delivers a reliable, controlled signal.

The combination of laminated spruce top and laminated Sapele for the back and sides forms the tonal basis of this instrument. Spruce ensures a precise response and brilliant highs, while the sapele rounds off the overall sound with its warm characteristics and present mids. The open-pored finish allows the vibration of the woods to develop freely, resulting in a lively and balanced resonance. This makes the guitar suitable for both sensitive playing and powerful rhythmic passages.

The Nyatoh neck sits comfortably in the hand and, together with the rosewood fingerboard, provides a smooth playing feel that supports both precise runs and clean chord transitions. With a nut width of 46 mm, the slim bone nut offers a comfortable string spacing and enables a relaxed finger position suitable for both beginners and advanced players. In addition, the rosewood bridge with a bone saddle ensures efficient string transmission and stable tuning.

For amplified use, the guitar is equipped with an Ibanez undersaddle pickup combined with the AEQ210T preamp, providing a reliable and versatile electronics system. Volume and tone can be adjusted directly via the preamp. Two separate tone controls for bass and treble allow flexible sound shaping, while the phase switch effectively reduces unwanted feedback. The system is complemented by an integrated tuner that ensures precise tuning at all times and makes live use particularly convenient.

The open-pore Black Out finish emphasizes the guitar’s understated and contemporary character and is complemented by black die-cast tuners. The cutaway design blends harmoniously into the overall look while also providing easier access to the higher frets.
