2000 Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay 4 String in Translucent Red, made in San Luis Obispo, CA.

This is the classic ash / maple / rosewood / 3-band combo that made this era so loved. Huge, punchy low end, growly midrange, and that StingRay top-end sizzle. The preamp is quiet, all knobs work as they should, truss rod turns fine, frets have plenty of life.

Ash body in Trans Red - you can see the wood grain through the finish. Maple neck, rosewood fretboard with dot inlays, black 3-ply pickguard, chrome hardware, original Music Man pickup and 3-band active EQ (Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble).

Cosmetic condition: Very good player condition. Small finish chip on the bass-side cutaway near the neck pocket (see photo), light buckle rash and a few small dings on the back - nothing through the wood. Front looks great. This bass was played, not abused, and it sounds amazing.

Electronics: 100% original EBMM 3EQ. No crackles, no mods.

Weight: ~ 9.8 LB

Includes: Padded gig bag - no original hard case.
