This is the highly desirable Gen 3 Chainsaw case (second and most popular version), produced in the early 1980s and considered by many to be the best hard case Gibson ever made for the Les Paul.

Correct for early ’80s Gibson Les Pauls, and famously favored by owners of real ’58, ’59, and ’60 Bursts due to its exceptional protection, durability, and lightweight molded design.
