From Martin's website,
"The Custom Shop 000-18 makes it easier than ever to get your hands on a handcrafted Martin built with premium tonewoods. With a solid Adirondack spruce top and genuine mahogany back and sides, this short-scale Auditorium model offers warm, articulate tone with exceptional clarity. It features hand-shaped Golden Era scalloped bracing and a dovetail neck joint for vintage-inspired resonance and response. The 000 body is equally at home with fingerpicking, strumming, or recording, and the faux tortoise binding adds a refined, custom touch. Designed to bring Custom Shop quality to more players, this special model is ready when you are—no need to start from scratch. For those seeking an heirloom-level guitar within reach, the Custom Shop 000-18 delivers."
