The Rode NTG-2 is a professional shotgun microphone with a very lightweight construction, designed specifically for professional use in video, film, and television applications.
The NTG-2 features a balanced, low-impedance output and can be powered either by standard phantom power or an internal 1.5V battery.
Its wide frequency response and controlled polar pattern, coupled with ultra-low noise electronics, make the NTG-2 the ideal microphone for audio recording in film, TV, video, and voice-over applications. In addition, its lightweight construction makes it easy to mount directly on a camera (using optional accessories).
The NTG-2 is sold together with its mount and a windscreen specially designed for use with this microphone, which significantly reduces wind noise when recording outdoors.
