This TPP Jimmy Page "Black Beauty" Les Paul Custom Tribute has been produced by The Painted Player Guitar Co. in the UK using a top-of-the-line Gibson USA Les Paul Custom that has been professionally modified to pay tribute to Jimmy Page's favourite guitar, his "Black Beauty". Featuring 3 beefy humbucking pickups accompanied by 3 individual on/off pickup selector switches, the player can access any combination of pickups, never before available on a Les Paul Custom! Upgraded with a pair of Seymour Duncan Humbuckers in both the Neck & Bridge Positions, the original Mid-Position Gibson Humbucker was never re-wired to take account of the phase variant between pickups at the time - as a result, Page discovered his 'Out of Phase' tone and it is a feature that he has had built into every Les Paul he has owned since! Equipped with Bigsby B7 Vibrato and beautifully aged and VOS Relic-ed based upon images and materials on the original guitar, this really is a guitar that aches to be played.
