1982 Gibson Victory Artist 5 String Fretless bass Made in USA with hard shell case. I believe the bass was originally a 4 string and at some point a previous owner had it modified into a 5 string. There is some finish wear and checking. Overall the bass is in good to very good condition. See photos for the best description.

All electronics work as they should and it sounds great plugged in. The serial number is not altered. I photo shopped the last two digits to prevent scammers from using the number for their purposes. The original Gibson hard case is included which has good hinges and latches but the handle is missing which is easy to replace. The stand in the photos is not included.

The Artist, creates tonal differences electronically, without needing to use the series/parallel switch - and when played in passive mode sounds similar to the Custom model. When in active mode the bass and treble controls can frequency boost by 16db or frequency cut by 18db - allowing a vast range of possible sounds, extreme treble to complete bass. Furthermore the notch filter offers a midrange frequency cut of 12db, providing another voice still.
