MP2" model with ash body

The original "MP" model inherits the traditional PJ style, but has been brushed up with Momose's own unique touch.

The Asuka factory's craftsmen handcraft each and every piece, from woodworking to painting and assembly. The high level of playability resulting from the elaborate craftsmanship has earned the support of top players in Japan and abroad, and offers the unwavering quality that can only be achieved by being made in Japan.

The "MP2" uses ash wood for the body and comes in a see-through color that brings out the natural grain of the wood.

Wider Horn for Better High-Position Playability

Compared to the standard PJ type, the "MP2" model has a larger horn on the treble string side.

This allows for better playability in the high position and allows players with large hands to run up to the high frets without stress.

Dropped joint plate

While the orthodox plate joint is adopted to bring out the ideal sound, the plate part has been dropped in to further enhance playability.

Wood Binding to Prevent Fingerboard Problems

Wood binding using the same wood as the fingerboard is used on the fingerboard sides. In addition to providing smooth fingerboard sides, it also prevents problems such as burrs from popping out of the frets after years of use.

Widely spaced rod adjustment

The uniquely shaped headstock has wider adjustment holes for smooth neck adjustment.

The shape is also wider than the standard shape, designed for ease of maintenance.

Momose VP-1 Pickup

Momose original pickup "VP-1" is mounted. It uses an Alnico 5 magnet to output a bass tone that combines bright highs and a thick bass feel. It supports playing in various diversified music scenes.
