Since 1986, Fender has been using solid cast string saddles that are nickel or chrome plated. However, many Strat enthusiasts appreciate the sound characteristics of the classic plain steel string saddles and this replacement kit makes it a snap to upgrade to more vintage character.
This Fender American Standard Bridge Saddles set fits all American Standard Strats built between 2008 and later. Guitars built between '86 and '07 have an offset intonation screw, so only the entire Tremolo (GIT0033177-000) can be replaced on these models.
