Airis Effects Brutal Drive V3.5

There's been enough interest that we are going to do more Brutal Drive's in 2022. Due to a combination of parts obsolescence and global delays, some changes had to be made from the V3 though. Luckily they were small enough that we're only considering it V3.5 rather than version 4. It will sound identical to the V3 version (setting dependent), so there will be no tonal surprises. (PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GRAPHIC WILL LOOK THE EXACT SAME OTHER THAN ONE CONTROL NAME. SEE CHANGES BELOW)

The changes themselves:
-No more noise gate. This is potentially the Airis Effects curse as every sort of noise gate we do ends up causing a parts complication!
-A new Filter control. This gives you an additional high shelf cut/boost that comes before the Eq section to fine tune how extreme the Mid and High controls can get. Leave it at noon and it will sound identical to the V3.

Volume: This is the most obvious. It makes the pedal louder. Not as loud as many of our other pedals, but with a bit of Gain added it get much even louder and more aggressive.

Low: This could also be called the Tight control. Sitting where the "chunk" of your tone is, lower settings will give you a tight and precise sound. Higher settings will give you a massive chug and even as far as some fuzziness at max.

Mid: Do you like crunch? Of course you do! So why not dial some in with this. Increased pick attack, presence and clarity are an added bonus.

High: Not enough bite from the Mid knob? Dial in more with the High. Keep it low for smoother tones and to remove shrillness in certain guitars/pickups. Crank it up for some bite and howl.

Filter: This gives you an additional high shelf cut/boost that comes before the Eq section to fine tune how extreme the Mid and High controls can get

Gain: This controls how "nasty" and dirty the pedal is. It's not quite a distortion, but can get extremely filthy while still stacking nicely into your amps gain.

Power: The Brutal Drive features an onboard bi-polar power supply, so it requires 9volts ONLY!!! Higher voltage will only damage it.
