Up for sale is a stunning 1998 Fender SRV Stratocaster Signature from the desirable late-'90s era (SN8 serial number).
Condition:
Great player-grade condition with honest cosmetic age and wear. The body shows natural finish chips and minor dings from real use (see photos for full details). The original gold hardware has aged gracefully without heavy oxidation, and the Pau Ferro fretboard is beautifully dark and well-figured.
Electronics & Restoration Notes:
- Bridge Pickup Upgrade: Features a Fender Custom Shop single-coil in the bridge position for a smoother, balanced top end. Neck and middle pickups are the original 1990s Fender Texas Specials.
- Professional Circuit Rewire: Due to a sloppy previous pot replacement attempt, the volume pot was replaced with a new CTS 250k unit. The entire electronic circuit was fully serviced and neatly rewired with vintage cloth wire to meet strict professional bench standards.
