The RODE NT1 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone with a 1-inch gold-sputtered capsule and cardioid polar pattern. It uses a JFET impedance converter with bipolar output buffer and internal capsule shock mounting. The microphone has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and an output impedance of 100 ohms. It requires 24V or 48V phantom power and connects via a 3-pin XLR balanced output. The NT1 has a self-noise rating of 4.5 dBA and can handle a maximum SPL of 132 dB. The microphone body measures 7.4 in long by 2 in in diameter and weighs 14 oz.
