B-stock Sterling by Music Man DarkRay in Black. This bass has some very minor cosmetic scuffing on the body and some marks on the top of the headstock, but is otherwise in new condition and functions exactly as it should.
Designed in collaboration with Darkglass Electronics, the DarkRay takes the familiar StingRay platform and adds a custom Darkglass 2-band active preamp with onboard Alpha distortion and Omega fuzz circuits. A three-way selector lets you switch between the clean preamp, Alpha distortion, and Omega fuzz modes, while dedicated gain and blend controls make it easy to dial in anything from a subtle edge to aggressive, saturated bass tones.
The DarkRay features a nyatoh body, roasted maple neck, ebony fingerboard, and a single Alnico humbucker. The black finish, black pickguard, and distinctive LED-ring control give it a sleek modern look to match its expanded tonal range.
