Sound and Feel

The combination of the alder body, quartersawn maple neck and Motor City 2nd Degree Blackbelt pickups gives the guitar a very immediate, dynamic and articulate response.

It has a fast attack, tight low end and excellent note separation, particularly under gain. It works extremely well for classic rock, hard rock and heavier modern rock styles while remaining very responsive to picking dynamics.

A Rare Early Luxxtone

This is not a mass-produced instrument. It comes from a small Los Angeles boutique workshop and, being #10, represents a very early period in Luxxtone’s production.

Luxxtone guitars are rarely seen on the European market, and an early example like this is particularly uncommon.
