Gibson Les Paul Standard 1979 Ebony " Norlin Era"
1979 Gibson Les Paul Standard. Norlin era instrument that they made right.
She has her original Ebony finish.
Installed Chrome pickgaurd, TP-6 fine tuner bridge, Brass Knuckle Mule Pickups ( Jimmy Page set ) - Mule in neck, and the Riff Raff in Bridge, and Strap locks. I wanted a John Sykes style Les Paul, and i couldn't be happier. Ive had around 15 LP's, and this guitar is one my last to sell because of her being my go to, one of the best I have owned. Im normally confident about selling my collection , but anyone who played this guitar wanted to bring her home.
She could absolutely use a fret job. l like em low like fretless wonders reason being why they are still present, but man she shreds, and you can bend a note like any other.
Her black paint has her share of chipped paint and scratches/dings. No neck breaks or repairs. Neck has STUPID low action and 60's slim neck. Not too thin, just right.. Cool looking axe.
Weight is @ 10lbs 2 oz
Will arrive in a Gibson brown case, with all original plastic - pickgaurd, rings, tip, volume and tone knobs, and ash tray ( electronics metal box )
