Greco Les Paul Special Model LJ-600 DiMarzio and Maxon Made in Japan - 1974-75

Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a mean Greco Les Paul Special Model LJ-600 with an original Maxon in the neck position and a DiMarzio P-90 in the bridge.   What a great combo - the Maxon is known for it's gritty and wailing tone while the DiMarzio P-90 is the friendliest sounding single-coil ever according to DiMarzio. High notes are always fat, with just enough bite to cut through the mix. Low notes are bright, but not thin, and the tone stays even — all the way up the neck.  We transplanted a new Gotoh bridge to replace the collapsing original and it was the right answer.  It received a fret level, crown and polish in our shop and plays beautifully.  There was a longitudinal or lengthwise crack in the neck that we were able to force ample amounts of glue in and get a solid clamp up.  It's not going anywhere.  24.75" scale, 12" radius, 7.34 lbs.  Comes safely packed and fully insured in a nice padded gig bag.  

The nut measures , neck depth is  at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  Freshly strung and accurately intonated with   The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  There are a few scratches and dings as pictured.  It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots.
