1988 Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion. The finish has beautiful weather checking all over the body and is completely worn away in some places. The binding on the back is partially replaced near the bottom strap button. The Fine-Tune tailpiece has been replaced with a standard stop-bar, and the pickguard is a replacement. When we received the guitar, it did not have the original pickup in the bridge position. In our collection of vintage replacement parts, we found an era-correct Gibson 490T and installed it.
The guitar is in good overall condition, plays very comfortably, and has a beautiful, silky fusion-jazz sound. The Howard Roberts comes with its original case and has been professionally set up.
