I am offering a Fender American Vintage Reissue (AVRI) '72 Telecaster Custom from 2013, a handcrafted in Corona, California (USA), limited edition Factory Special Run (FSR) featuring a solid ash body, bolt-on maple neck with ‘70s C-shaped neck profile, exquisite rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays, tonally versatile SH pickup setup with powerful Fender USA Wide Range humbucker at the neck and one Fender American Vintage Tele singlecoil at the bridge, 3-piece vintage string-through-body bridge with steel saddles and legendary Fender Schaller F-Style vintage tuners in a brilliant natural high-gloss nitrocellulose finish with black pickguard and chrome/ nickel hardware in excellent condition, including Fender G&G luxury hardshell case, all manufacturer documents, and professional setup with 10-gauge Ernie Ball strings.

This limited 2013 Factory Special Run is a handcrafted, faithful reissue of the Fender American Vintage '72 Telecaster and immediately evokes a classic Telecaster design from the early 1970s, which was equipped with a factory-installed Wide Range humbucker in the neck position and four controls. In addition to the three-screw neck plate and the protruding bullet truss rod on the headstock, contemporary details also include the characteristic vintage-style F-tuners and the oversized black pickguard.

To achieve the classic 1970s Telecaster Custom tone, Fender has installed an American Vintage single-coil Telecaster pickup in the bridge position and a Wide Range humbucker at the neck, controlled via a three-way switch with an aged white tip and two skirted amp volume and tone controls. The guitar is extremely versatile and covers everything from clear, dynamic single-coil tones to classic twang-laden Tele sounds and dirty, distorted humbucker rock sounds.

The solid ash body with a thin, natural high-gloss nitro finish allows for excellent natural resonance, and the “C”-shaped maple neck offers smooth, effortless playability on the rosewood fingerboard, which features 21 vintage frets.

The craftsmanship is of the highest standard of U.S. handcrafting, and anyone who has held this guitar in their hands will notice this from the very first note!

As a limited-edition FSR model, this guitar was only produced in 2013.

This Fender Tele is in like-new condition and technically flawless. Visually, it shows only very occasional finest superficial wear (see photos). The frets are like new.
