Suhr Modern 7 Quilt Roasted - Bengal Burst

The Suhr Modern 7 Quilt Roasted in Bengal Burst is a stunning, precision-engineered instrument that stands as a testament to Suhr’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of modern guitar design. Built for players who demand impeccable tone, effortless playability, and eye-catching beauty in one versatile 7-string platform, this guitar combines premium tonewoods, cutting-edge electronics, and meticulous craftsmanship in a way that only Suhr can deliver.

At the heart of the Modern 7 Quilt Roasted is a resonant two-piece Mahogany body, providing a warm, full-bodied foundation with sustain for days. This is topped with a breathtaking Quilt Maple top, its rippling figure brought to life by the rich Bengal Burst finish that glows under stage lights and invites closer inspection from every angle. Thoughtful ergonomic arm, hand, and tummy contours ensure that, despite its extended range, this guitar feels supremely comfortable and balanced, whether you’re shredding on stage or tracking in the studio.

The neck is a work of art in itself — a Roasted Flame Maple masterpiece, finished in satin for a smooth, fast feel that won’t get sticky under hot lights. Paired with a sleek Ebony fingerboard, this neck offers unmatched playability with a Modern Elliptical 7 profile (.780" - .850") that fills the hand just right while still feeling agile. A 10" - 14" compound radius and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets mean low, fast action with precision bends and silky smooth slides, while the standard rolled fingerboard edges add that unmistakable Suhr comfort.

When it comes to hardware and electronics, the Modern 7 Quilt Roasted leaves nothing to chance. Black hardware throughout, including a rock-solid Hipshot Hardtail 7 bridge and Suhr locking tuners, keeps tuning stable and intonation spot-on, no matter how far you push your range. The pickup configuration — a 7 Vintage in the neck and a 7 Hot in the bridge — is perfectly voiced to cover everything from crystal-clear cleans and warm, singing leads to searing high-gain riffs with tight low-end response and articulate note separation. The versatile 5-way blade switch, single volume, and tone controls give you all the tonal flexibility you need to go from shimmering chords to full-throttle modern metal with ease.

Every detail on this guitar has been thought through: the classy Laser Silver Suhr logo gleams proudly on the headstock, while Mother of Pearl ring face dots and green Luminlay side dots keep you locked in visually on dark stages. Weighing in at a comfortable 7 lbs 8 oz and arriving in a robust hard case, the Modern 7 Quilt Roasted is ready to travel anywhere inspiration strikes.

From technical seven-string players to progressive rock and metal artists who demand more from their instrument, the Suhr Modern 7 Quilt Roasted in Bengal Burst delivers stunning looks, supreme comfort, and massive tonal versatility — a true modern classic designed to inspire.
