Fortin Sigil, 20-watt High gain tube amp head, Great condition, UK made

I have a fantastic Fortin Sigil tube amp here. Made in the UK.

Conditionally, it is in excellent condition.

It is both sonically and cosmetically excellent. It sounds fantastic. The tubes are nice and strong. And it has no dings or bumps or chips.

This amp comes to you from my personal collection. And it's taking me a while to actually want to sell it. I have a lot of gear and can only play so much. So it's with fondness that I'm letting this one go.

It has tremendous high gain capabilities. You can get an almost laser beam style lead tone from it. The unique trait that it has, to my ears, is the gain does not suffer from becoming a noisy jumble at high gain levels. It's surprising how tight and articulate it can be, with face melting levels of distortion. And it's also quiet in background noise. I don't know how they do it, because traditional noise gates tend to suck tone, so I never use them. This amp has sort of the clarity and the precision as if you were using a noise gate to clean it up. But it suffers no loss of tone. No loss of harmonic content.

Additionally, the first gain stage can actually be used to get vintage tones. So you can't even really stereotype it as just a modern high gain amp because it's versatile. You can get a lot of different tones here. The overall quality of it is better than most of the lunchbox amps out there. It's better quality than what Marshall is putting out. Equal in quality to what Victory is putting out, with perhaps a better design overall. And comparable to what Mesa Boogie is putting out.

To my knowledge, these are no longer being made. It's really an ideal amp for recording or home playing. It really sounds great at low volumes. So if you've ever wanted living room or bedroom metal, this is a great amp for that. Pick it up before I change my mind and keep it.
