This Yngwie Malmsteen signature Fender ST57-140YM Stratocaster plays and sounds great! The guitar is comprised of a basswood body, chunky "C" shape maple neck, and maple fretboard with scalloped jumbo frets. The guitar also features DiMarzio DP117 single coil pickups in the neck and bridge positions and is equipped with a brass nut.  

This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with minor scuffs on the headstock and lacquer wear on the edges of the fretboard. The pearl yellow white finish has darkened from over time and the pickguard, covers, and knobs have also yellowed. The hardware shows light tarnishing from over the years as well. There's a couple of deeper scuffs on the pickguard located near the neck pickup. The frets have some oxidation but still play great and the electronics work as they should. 

The back spring cover is a replacement, otherwise this guitar is original.
