1985 Greco EGC68-50 Custom Mint Collection Vintage Guitar Violin Burst, Japan Fujigen w/ Case, Screamin PAFs

Up for sale, 1985 Greco Mint Collection EGC68-50 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Crafted at the venerable Fujigen factory, this “lawsuit era” Mint Collection Greco is a clear response to the ‘68 Les Paul Custom. While it’s worth noting that no legal action was taken against Greco specifically for these guitars, Gibson would go on to commission the same factory to produce their Japan-exclusive "Orville" line of instruments.

Tonewoods include a mahogany body with a carved maple top and a one-piece mahogany neck capped with a bound rosewood fretboard. This guitar has a midrange-forward, resonant acoustic character, and the Fujigen-made "Screamin" PAF-style humbuckers are detailed and rich, with plenty of definition and power from the bridge pickup and more warmth and fullness in the neck position. This Greco weighs 9lbs 10oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
