Martin CEO-7 | Parlor – A Modern Classic with Executive DNA
When you see the name CEO , expectations rise...and quite right too. The Martin CEO-7 isn’t just another small-bodied acoustic; it’s a deliberate statement from Martin’s own leadership. Designed under the direction of the company’s Chief Executive Officer, this model reflects a rare combination of heritage, authority, and uncompromising taste.

This is Martin at its most intentional: a guitar that nods respectfully to the golden era while quietly outperforming it.

The Story Behind the Sound
At the heart of every Martin lies a piece of history. The CEO-7 carries that legacy forward with a tonewood pairing that serious players immediately recognise: an Adirondack spruce top, famously dynamic, responsive, and powerful, paired with warm, articulate mahogany back and sides.

Finished in a rich sunburst gloss varnish, it feels like something discovered in a 1930s case, yet built with modern precision.

What sets this model apart is its 14-fret neck joint, unusual for a parlor-style guitar. It gives you extra room higher up the neck without sacrificing that intimate, focused voice smaller bodies are loved for. In short: vintage soul, modern usability.

X-Bracing – The Martin Signature
Inside, you’ll find the design that changed everything: X-bracing.

Invented by C.F. Martin Sr. in the 19th century, this architecture remains the backbone of acoustic guitar design. It provides strength, yes, but more importantly, it shapes the voice: balanced, open, and projecting far beyond what its size suggests.

Many have tried to replicate it. None quite match the original.
