Here's a 1966 Martin D-12-35 in Natural finish. Serial number 216780 makes this an early 2nd year example, with all parts 100% original the guitar. At some point it had a non-intrusive, under the saddle pickup in, which has since been removed. So just the output jack for that is filled near the bottom strap button. Strap buttons were added as well. Beyond that, no breaks, cracks, repairs! The guitar features its original Tortoise pickguard (Martin changed to black after '66), along with a Sitka spruce top, 3-piece Brazilian rosewood back, Brazilian rosewood sides, slotted headstock, and an Ebony fingerboard and bridge. The guitar plays and sounds great!! It has aged like a fine wine. Big open tone, with good low end, matched with gorgeous top end chime. Super balanced. You can hear every note ring clean! The frets are in good shape, and the saddle still has good room to go down. OHSC included!
