This listing is for an early '70s Muff Fuzz by Electro-Harmonix.This is the rare, sought-after "plug-in" version. It works perfectly and sounds like new, with absolutely no issues.Please note that a few maintenance updates have been made over the years to keep it running flawlessly:
- The battery connector was replaced because the original was becoming intermittent.
- The single electrolytic capacitor was replaced as the original had dried out and was no longer functioning properly.
All other components are 100% original, including the transistors, all ceramic capacitors, and even the original foam insert used to hold the battery in place.The pedal sounds incredible. It is an all-discrete circuit with no ICs, delivering a fantastic vintage tone with plenty of gain (easily doubling the volume of your dry signal).Shipping:
