Moog Micromoog - 1978 model, serial number: 7141
Fully serviced and restored, rare in this condition.
A true 70s legend, used by artists such as Kraftwerk, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, etc.
Cosmetically, it is in near-mint condition. Needless to say, it sounds fat and wonderfully funky — in short, it’s a Moog.
The filter is incredible, the oscillator too, and everything works perfectly. Notes are stable and consistent. There are no crackles, hiss, or buzz.
Its only flaw is the missing knob on the KBD potentiometer for the pre-MIDI Moog system on the rear panel. I couldn’t find a replacement matching the exact original look, so I decided to leave it as is.
It is in perfect working condition and ready to play (after the usual 10-minute warm-up, of course).
Comes with its user manual.
Work carried out:
- Replacement of two CA1080E chips (Military Grade),
- Replacement of all electrolytic capacitors,
- Replacement of faulty trimpots,
- Replacement of key bushings and PTFE lubrication,
- Cleaning of the busbar and J-wire (key contacts),
- Key leveling and adjustment,
- Cleaning of all potentiometers and jack sockets,
- Installation of a new power cord,
- Deep overall cleaning,
- Calibration following the official Moog service manual procedure,
- Many hours of inspection and testing.
