Continuing their exploration of Marble Physics with ADDC503, a new simulation of a physical system is presented. In this scenario, they envision a specific region situated in the vast expanse of the ocean. Within this area, they strategically position four buoys, equally spaced apart, securely anchored to the ocean floor. Notably, they have the capability to adjust the spacing between these buoys at their discretion. Furthermore, they possess the means to manipulate the environmental factors, allowing them to agitate the surrounding waters as needed. This agitation, in turn, causes the buoys to oscillate, moving both upwards and downwards in response to the undulating water surface.

In this imaginative setup, a wireless communication system enables these buoys to transmit their precise height measurements directly to the module outputs, where they are transformed into voltage signals, ready for further analysis.

To achieve this mesmerizing effect, they employ the concept of a Gerstner Wave as the driving force behind the generation of two-dimensional waves. In the realm of fluid dynamics, a Gerstner Wave is defined as "a progressive wave of permanent form on the surface of an incompressible fluid of infinite depth." These waves have found extensive application in computer graphics, particularly for simulating various types of water surfaces. Chances are, if you've ever watched an animated film or played a computer game featuring realistic water surfaces, it likely relied on the generation of Gerstner waves for its visual authenticity.
