Rare WWII Era German Button Accordion SOLO BOLERO

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS & ORIGIN:

This is a rare vintage professional-grade button accordion (bayan) from the WWII era. It features a versatile setup:

Right Hand: 3 rows, 52 buttons.

Left Hand (Bass): 5 rows, 100 bass buttons.

Reeds: High-quality reeds on brass plates (typical for premium German builds of this era).

Based on expert consultations, there are two primary theories regarding its origin:

German Line (1939–1945): Original Solo Bolero produced in Germany. Features characteristic "marble" celluloid and internal brass components.

Italian Line: Structural design (body geometry, deep-set mechanics, and unique wooden bass grille) suggests the high-end Italian school (Castelfidardo), potentially made for the German export market.

PROVENANCE:

This instrument is a true "time capsule." In the early 1960s, it was personally awarded by a Soviet Submarine Commander to a young sailor as a reward for an exemplary mission. It has remained in that single family for over 60 years, untouched and never before offered for sale.

CONDITION (Strictly for Restoration / Parts):

Sold AS-IS as a non-working survivor.

Untouched: The instrument has not been opened or tampered with for over 60 years.

Internal: Due to decades of dry storage, internal leathers, seals, and adhesives have dried out. Requires a complete overhaul by a professional luthier. Some loose internal elements can be heard.

External: Original "war patina," wear on bellows, and some sunken keys. No modern repair attempts.

CASE:

Includes the original vintage hard case. The locks are 100% functional and secure, ensuring safe international transport.

LEGAL TERMS & RETURN POLICY:

AS-IS SALE: Historical antique for restoration. All sales are final. No functional warranties.
