A rare and seriously desirable early ‘70s Marshall cabinet — this 1972 Model 2032 tall 4x12 is loaded with a quad of original Celestion G12M T1511 Greenbacks, featuring the sought-after 102 14 Pulsonic cones.

This is proper golden-era Marshall tone. Big, open low end, woody mids, and that unmistakable Greenback compression and chew when pushed — everything you want from a vintage 4x12, with a slightly different character thanks to the tall 2032 format.

Condition:

Very good vintage condition. As expected for a 50+ year old cabinet, there is some cosmetic wear including tolex marks and general ageing, but it remains structurally solid and fully functional. At some point, plastic corners were fitted and later removed — small screw holes remain as evidence. A clean, honest example.

Sound & Use:

This cab delivers classic early ‘70s Marshall tone in spades — rich, complex mids, smooth highs, and a forgiving, musical breakup. Ideal with JMPs, plexi-style heads, or anything where you want authentic vintage response.

Pulsonic cone Greenbacks are widely regarded as the best-sounding iteration, offering a sweeter top end and more detailed midrange compared to later cones.

Original Pulsonic cone-loaded Marshall 4x12s are getting increasingly hard to find — and even more so in less common formats like the 2032. This is a serious player’s cab with strong collector appeal.
