The Fender Japan JV Modified ’50s Telecaster combines classic 1950s Tele style with modern player-friendly upgrades. Its basswood body offers a lightweight build and balanced tonal response, making it a practical and comfortable solidbody electric guitar.
The Thick Soft “V” maple neck delivers a slightly rounded vintage-style grip inspired by classic ’50s neck shapes, providing a comfortable feel for both rhythm and lead playing.
Its 9.5" fingerboard radius and medium jumbo frets create a smooth, versatile playing experience, allowing players to move easily between chord work and expressive soloing.
The upgraded electronics include a 4-way selector switch that offers bridge only, bridge and neck in parallel, neck only, and bridge and neck in series for added output. A push/pull function on the tone control activates out-of-phase mode in select positions, expanding the tonal palette even further.
Vintage-style locking tuners maintain the traditional look while improving tuning stability and making string changes faster and more convenient.
