1974 Univox U1511 150W Amplifier [Fully Serviced]

This amplifier has just been given a comprehensive 'once in a lifetime' service. And should be good to go for another few decades.

One of the last fantastic value vintage amps.

Very good condition for its age.

All original outside of the components mentioned below. Original transformers, potentiometers, knobs, reverb tank, and most other components (all the important ones!).

Well made in Japan. Huge transformers. Real ceramic high quality tube sockets. These things were built to last.

The power tubes are Russian. The preamp tubes are a mix of vintage tubes. There are Japanese, USA, and Great Britain (Mullard). 6L6GC and the preamp tubes are 6AN8, and a mix of 12AX7 and 12AU7.

Most componenets date to around 1974.

- All new electrolytic capacitors (F&T Made In Germany Filter Caps)
- New IEC power inlet (Schurter)
- New trim pot in tremolo circuit (Piher Made In Spain)
- New reverb cables (Switchcraft plugs Made In USA)
- A few new capacitors and resistors where required
- Two new preamp tube retaining clips
- Two new knobs (recreation of the originals, last two knobs on right for tremolo circuit).
- All pots, switches, jacks cleaned
- Tolex cleaned, knobs and hardware cleaned ultrasonically
- Amp fully tested, all good
