Tama - 6x14" Warlord Spartan, Snare Drum 2000's - Stainless Steel (JL T #5)

In the early 2000s, Tama released an ultra high-end series of snare drums called the Tama Warlord Collection. Four 6x14" uniquely appointed snares made up the series. The snares were inspired by and named for “the power, discipline, and élan of one of history’s elite warrior forces,” according to Tama’s 2007 catalog.

This model, made from Stainless Steel is called "The Spantan".

Warlord snares are very rare and in extreme high demand amongst both players and collectors. The Warlord Collection was discontinued after a relatively short run, and are rarely available in the used market these days.

The Tama Warlord Spartan 6×14″ Stainless Snare is a boutique-level metal snare that blends high-grade materials and standout visual/hardware flair. With a 1 mm stainless steel shell and an expanded 6″ depth, this snare offers a big, articulate crack with modern clarity.

We replaced one of the lugs (these lugs are notorious for breaking). You'll notice black crystals on the one replaced lug. All of the other crystals are clear. The shell is excellent There's some visible wear on some of the hardware. Everything works exactly as it should. No other issues. Features a 1 mm stainless steel shell, Resonant Sound Edge (R.S.E.), Warlord collection lugs, die-cast hoops, metal finish.
