Aria Pro II TA-61 Sunburst Hollow Body Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have an Aria Pro II TA-61 hollow body electric guitar in Sunburst finish. This guitar features a fully hollow construction, with a laminate Maple body, a Maple neck, a 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard, along with a pair of humbuckers, wired to dual volume/tone controls, a 3-way toggle switch, and a  6-way rotary vari-tone switch.

The gloss finish neck plays well, feeling smooth and comfortable in the hand, with a relatively thin profile that feels quick in the hand. The dual cutaways give excellent access to the upper register, while the hollow body makes for a very responsive instrument with great dynamic control, and the slightly scaled down body size helps mitigate against feedback.

The humbuckers have a thick and creamy voicing, with a rich low end, a solid midrange, along with a clear and articulate top end, overall driving an amplifier nicely and sounding great across a broad range of genres. The vari-tone is a great option for dialling back the voicing of the guitar, either for rhythm playing, or setting somewhere in the middle and boosting for solos!

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Shows light wear to the rear edge. Both faces of the headstock demonstrate light yet consistent scratching, visible only at certain angles, as is common with high gloss finish.

Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck presents minor indents to the finish to the rear of the 7th and 12th frets. Markings are visible to the binding at the fret ends in the upper register, not affecting structure.

Body: Overall very good condition. Both faces of the body demonstrate light yet consistent scratching, visible only at certain angles, as is common with high gloss finish, along with a few light indents (not breaking the finish). There is a small black mark to the binding to the upper horn on the rear.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. There is sufficient material remaining for any light fret work the new owner may wish to perform.  

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod Condition: Fully functional & can be adjusted

Hardware Condition: Fully functional with moderate signs of wear. The tailpiece shows notable tarnishing, having faded to silver, losing the original plated gold finish. The bridge pickup surround has split in a few places, and the pickguard has snapped at the screw near the neck pickup.

Structural Condition: No concerns or issues to note

Height of the string from the 12th Fret- Treble 1.5mm - Bass 2mm
