This is a restored vintage 1976 Fender Telecaster Custom left handed guitar featuring an original ‘76 loaded neck complete with new frets, original nut, nitro headstock finish, and all hardware including tuners, string retainers and micro tilt adjustment. It is fully restored with a new and high-end custom order made in USA 2-piece Roasted Swamp Ash vintage ‘70s spec body with vintage micro tilt, professionally finished and aged by MJT in Firemist Gold nitro with light relic wear and lots of first class lacquer checking.

This one of a kind custom body features all appropriate Fender parts, several of which are authentic vintage Fender from the Fullerton era: 1976 Telecaster Custom pickguard, strap buttons, output retainer cup and jack, vintage early 1970s Fender Telecaster bridge pickup, vintage late 70s / early 80s Fender CuNiFe Wide Range neck humbucker made in USA pickup with braided wire, 1980 vintage Fender wiring with CTS pots with blue drop capacitors, 4 black witch hat Tele Custom knobs (1970s), 3-way toggle switch with braided wire, and a 1970s ashtray bridge cover.

The Fender Pat Pen reissue ashtray bridge with period correct ‘72 reissue steel saddles completes the classic look.

This ultra rare 1976 Fender maple neck has a 100% naturally aged relic finish with nitro checking on headstock. It has new frets and everything else is original, including nut, nitro headstock finish, and all hardware including tuners, string retainers and micro tilt adjustment. It features the classic 25.5" scale length, 7.25” radius Brazilian rosewood fretboard with real aged clay top and side dots, original “B” 1 5/8” bone nut 1.605” wide (41mm) with original string guides, 100% original finish, thin C profile with .829”/.888” thickness, bullet truss rod adjustment at head, and walnut skunk stripe on back.

Fortunately the neck retains its naturally aged Fender factory finish and a nitro finish, with all real play wear, including vintage lacquer checking on the headstock face. All the tuning keys are straight and in excellent working condition.

This neck is an extraordinarily rare example from the early 1970s Fender Fullerton factory and includes an authentic made in USA reissue 1970s Fender tri-bolt neck plate.

It is currently strung and set up with 10/46 regular light gauge strings for excellent tone.

This guitar is light weight at only 7.2 lb and is very resonant with great sustain.

Bonus vintage extras: ships in a vintage late 1960s Fender USA Fullerton era hard shell case with red interior, a vintage 1977 Fender Telecaster Custom manual, and 1970s strap ($2,000+ value).

Ahead of schedule delivery intact. This excellent specimen of a 1998 cij67/68 Hendrix natural ash body guitar was described physically on spot. Hearing and feeling are hard to convey online. Love the small-dimensioned neck still retaining nice resonance. It's a keeper before and after the amp is on.
