Mazzatron Octosphere - Quadraphonic / Octophonic Audio Controller - Eurorack Synthesizer Module

This module is perfect for controlling your octophonic audio setup using triple-CV XYZ-axis voltage control. It can also be used for quadraphonic XY panning with the Z-axis acting as an audio input VCA.

For an octophonic setup, connect the four upper and four lower quadrant outputs to eight speakers, one placed in each corner of the room, four around the ceiling and four around the floor. Connect control voltages for X, Y, and Z-axis to CV IN and use the BIAS knob to adjust the offset to center the panning. Use the SUM IN and level knob to add additional modulation to each axis.

This module is totally analog, so there is no digital noise and it can be modulated beyond audio rate.

There are headers on the back of the Octosphere to daisy-chain and mix the audio through multiple modules with internal ribbon cables, eliminating the need for separate mixers at each of the eight outputs when using multiple voices in your octophonic setup.
