Description:

The Hosco TL-FE2 Fret-End Dressing File is a specialized tool developed specifically for professional fret end work. Its unique pencil-like shape allows for a natural grip, giving you significantly more precise control during delicate filing tasks. The 30-degree angled bottom is designed to fit the fingerboard perfectly while being held like a pencil, ensuring a stable and ergonomic experience. This design helps prevent unwanted slipping and allows for consistent results across all frets on the instrument.

This medium-sized file features a 2mm concave top with a single cut, along with single-cut sides for effective material removal. Safety is prioritized with a smooth, toothless bottom that protects the wood of the fingerboard from scratches or gouges. Whether you are performing routine maintenance or a full fret dress, the Hosco TL-FE2 provides the accuracy needed for standard frets. The compact 35mm (1.4in) file length and 160mm (6.3in) total length make it a versatile addition to any luthier tool kit.
