The Diablo Plus is a high-end analog overdrive, handmade in Germany, particularly renowned for its great dynamics, transparency and ability to cover a very wide range, from a light crunch to a thick, highly sustained lead tone. It features Gain, Tone and Level controls, along with the highly effective Feed control, which adjusts the amount of low end before the gain stage, and Body, which shapes the low mids and compression. The Diablo Plus’s distinctive feature is its second gain stage, activated by the “+” footswitch, allowing you to go from an overdrive sound to a more saturated and dense tone for solos. A Headroom selector also allows the pedal to operate internally at either 9V or approximately 18V, providing greater dynamics, punch and definition. Two internal trimmers allow you to further adjust the bass and treble/presence to match your amplifier. Highly responsive to picking dynamics and guitar volume, it excels in blues, blues-rock, rock and heavier tones inspired by Marshall amplifiers, while remaining transparent enough to preserve the natural character of the guitar.
