2008 Gibson SG Standard Ebony – All Original – OHSC – Made in USA

For sale is my 2008 Gibson SG Standard in Ebony (Gloss Black), Made in USA.

The guitar is 100% original and unmodified. All electronics, hardware, and pickups are factory original. No modifications, repairs, or upgrades have been made.

It is equipped with the original Gibson 490R (neck) and 498T (bridge) humbuckers, delivering the classic SG tone with plenty of punch, sustain, and versatility. The guitar plays exceptionally well, is in perfect working order, and has always been well cared for.

Condition

This 2008 Gibson SG Standard is in well-maintained used condition for its age and remains completely original.

Cosmetically, the guitar shows some normal signs of use and playwear, including a few light scratches, minor surface marks and minor cosmetic dings. There is also one more noticeable scratch on the top, which can be seen in the photos.

There are no paint chips, cracks, breaks, structural damage or signs of abuse. Overall, the guitar presents very well for its age and is in honest, well-maintained used condition.

Please refer to all photos carefully for the exact cosmetic condition. I have tried to photograph the relevant signs of use as clearly as possible.

Technically, the instrument is in perfect working order. All electronics function flawlessly, the controls operate smoothly, and everything works exactly as intended.

The frets are in excellent condition with only minimal wear and plenty of life remaining.

The neck is straight, the action is low and comfortable, and the guitar offers excellent playability across the entire fretboard.

Weighing approximately 3.2 kg (7.1 lbs), this SG is lightweight, well-balanced, and comfortable to play for extended sessions.
