Overview
- The Custom Shop '55 Les Paul Exclusive Series sought to imitate the modified pre-1957 Les Pauls that attempted to emulate the features of '57-'60 models.
- The Exclusive "Hot-Mod" models featured Burstbucker pickups, the Exclusive "Wraptail" Goldtop models featured P90s, and the Exclusive "Custom" models featured P90/Staple pickups found on the '54 Les Paul Custom Reissues.
- Available in Goldtop, Refin Cherry Sunburst, and Ebony. Ebony models featured ebony fretboards, while Goldtop and Refin Cherry Sunburst models featured rosewood fretboards.
