How's it going! you're looking at a 2011 Fender Stratocaster Wayne Kramer Stars & Stripes/MC5 Relic Electric Guitar!Made in Mexico in 2011, this striking Fender Wayne Kramer Artist Series Signature Stratocaster is a faithful, official tribute to the legendary "Stars & Stripes" flag-painted guitar played by the MC5’s proto-punk icon. Once in hand, the satin-finished maple neck fills your grip comfortably with a reassuring, late-1960s profile that feels instantly familiar and broken-in. The instrument plays exceptionally smooth and responsive, offering a fluid action across the fretboard that handles aggressive rhythm playing and expressive string bends with absolute ease. Sonically, it is an absolute powerhouse; by pairing vintage-style neck and bridge single-coils with a high-output Seymour Duncan '59 humbucker in the middle position, it kicks out a massive, muscular roar that is heavily reinforced by a hardtail bridge for incredible sustain. Cosmically, its striking look is defined by a factory-applied road-tested relic finish that masterfully replicates the battle-scarred nature of Kramer's original instrument. This includes realistic finish checking across the stars and stripes, simulated dings and paint chips along the body contours, and carefully aged chrome hardware, all anchored by a custom neck plate stamped with his poignant message, "This Tool Kills Hate." All of the electronics are in working order, the neck is straight and the truss rod functions. The intonation is spot on, the action is excellent and there is no major fret wear apparent from previous use. This guitar has been professionally set up with new strings, weighs in at a comfortable 6 pounds, 9 ounces, and comes safely protected in its original Fender gig bag. Don't miss your chance to own a rare, incredibly resonant piece of rock-and-roll history that looks, plays, and sounds absolutely phenomenal!!!The listed shipping policy ships predominantly to 48 states (Alaska & Hawaii are excluded).
