About this listing
A rare set-neck Telecaster-style model with serious vibe and player appeal.Featuring the distinctive “Spalo” logo and a one-piece white pickguard, this guitar combines classic vintage-inspired looks with a number of modern performance upgrades. From the front, it gives off a traditional Tele feel, but under the hood it’s built for players who want more. The heel-less set-neck construction offers a smooth, comfortable feel that you simply don’t get from a standard Fender bolt-on design, and the 22-fret neck provides extended range and easy upper-fret access. Other thoughtful modern features include headstock truss rod adjustment, angled bridge saddles, and contemporary pickup selector wiring.Tonally, this guitar has the immediate attack and strong resonance unique to a set-neck instrument, delivering a character noticeably different from a traditional bolt-on Telecaster. It has excellent balance across the frequency range and performs equally well with clean tones or driven sounds. Even with heavy ambient effects, note definition remains intact, and under deep distortion the sound stays tight and focused without getting muddy. The pots date to 1993, and the guitar is believed to have been built in the early 1990s.Condition is very good for its age, showing only light scratches and minor cosmetic wear from normal play. No major damage is present. Approximately 70–80% of the fret life remains, and the neck shows no noticeable warping or twisting. The truss rod has been tested and functions properly in both directions. Electronics are fully functional, with no noise or looseness in the controls.Includes the original hard shell case. No paperwork included. All parts are believed to be original. We ship nationwide.
