Original vintage 1964 Guild S-50 Polara in excellent playing condition!
An awesome early example of Guild’s solid mahogany rocker, designed to compete with the Gibson SG, Gretsch corvette, epiphone Olympic offerings of the era. Like its contemporaries, it’s light, fast, and every inch a rocker. The mini p90 “frequency tested” pickup is gritty and nasty, and she’s fast as lightning.
Beautiful Brazilian rosewood board, excellent frets, superb old wood construction. Cosmetically, she’s quite lovely as well, with tons of natural patina, finish, and real play wear, including an historic headstock repair, rock solid. She ships in the pictured hard case.
