Hi fellows, I am currently selling some of my gears.
here is my 1968 Telecaster Bass, first year of reproduction of the 1951 model that I kept for years.
She's all stock, as you can see, no refin, the pots are from '67, the neck is wonderful .and the weight is 4,2 kg.
The only "missing" part is the pickguard, I still have it in a bag, in pieces.
On a 1968 Telecaster Bass, the pickguard is made of celluloid nitrate and this material has a major flaw: it chemically decomposes over time.
Therefore, I have a bag full of it...
And as you can see, the checking is so beautiful that I kept it that way, without replacing the pickguard.
The case is from that era but certainly not a genuine Fender.
