The Plan-9 Ram's Head Si is assembled with four BC239 transistors and four 1N914 diodes, exactly like the original from the 70s.
The transistors are selected and matched to offer the best sound quality.
In addition to offering high gain like other versions of the Big Muff, with the Plan-9 Ram's Head it is also possible to obtain moderate tones and even work with chords. It also cleans up with the guitar's volume control.
The manual switch transforms the pedal into a 70s Colorsound Supa Tone Bender, with less compression and more gate than the BMP.
