Gibson Custom Shop / 2011 Model 1960's J-45

This instrument, clad in a vibrant vintage cherry sunburst color, is a reproduction of a 1960s J-45.

-Touring Rosette

The Touring Rosette, adopted in 1962, is one of the iconic specifications of the 1960s.

Compared to the single-ring design of the 1950s, the addition of 7 points of white/black acetate makes the decoration more elaborate.

-Reddish Large Pickguard

The large pickguard, which was originally a strong brown color, was changed to a reddish color in 1964.

This instrument also incorporates that change, finishing it in the style of the 1960s.

—A bridge that matches modern sounds

While the 1960s were characterized by adjustable bridges that allowed for raising and lowering the bridge height, this model employs slotted saddles.

It produces a sound that can handle a variety of genres.

In this way, Gibson Custom Shop models not only faithfully reproduce the usage of the time, but are also playfully arranged to match modern times, resulting in a unique instrument.

-String height at 12th fret: 2.1mm on the 6th string side, 2.0mm on the 1st string side
-Saddle protrusion: Approximately 2.0mm to 3.5mm
There is no buzzing or dead notes, and the playing condition is good.
