Custom Built Snare 14" X 6.5" Walnut/Bloodwood Stave Snare Drum 2017 Satin

This was my first drum build. It features a 14x6.5" custom Farlow stave shell made out of Walnut and with a ring of Bloodwood in the center and is almost 3/4 inches thick! It also features Pearl's Mastersound diecast chrome hoops, a Trick GS007 throw off and butt plate, and a PureSound super 30 series snare wire. With the offset tube lug placement it is a very unique, one of a kind drum.

The sound is huge! It's a well rounded, sensitive and thick sounding snare with a shorter sustain, but very thick attack in the mids and lows depending on tuning.

This was my first build so there's a few imperfections but they are very hard to spot. None of which effect the sound or the stunning beauty of this snare.
