Martin 2002 D-18DC David Crosby Signature Edition 24/250 - Natural

Beautiful D18! Classic Martin dread model with insanely quilt-figured mahogany back and sides. Plays nicely with fresh set up and large V shaped neck profile. Super comfortable to hold with ebony board and almost zero fretwear. The guitar sounds incredible! Commanding presence and loud with brilliant harmonically rich mid range that’s sweet and musical. Nice blooming low end while strumming and clear articulate high end while fingerpicking; well balanced and just awesome. The guitar is super clean for its age! The top has one minuscule ding and very slight indentations that are almost imperceptible. The finish is just beginning to check and looks great. There is a thin crack in the clear coat on the back of the guitar about two inches long near the seem and neck joint that is not in the wood, solely the finish. The back of the neck has some little wear on top of the fret board like a player that wore rings but it’s only around frets 5-11. Overall it’s a beauty and very well kept. Awesome player and quintessential d18 tone. Limited edition 24 of 250.
