The Schoeps M221 are great mics, very popular in the acoustic recording field. They have very natural and smooth sound, The power supplies were replaced new by Bill Bradley, which are much more stable and reliable than the originals.
I have 2 pairs available, this is the listing for 1 pair with a single, 2 channel power supply.
The microphones are all original, with the Telefunken AC701k tube, made in Germany by Schoeps (not the Hungarian counterfeiters). These have dual pattern capsules (M934B Omni and Cardiod) and the original cardiod enhancement rings.
The Schoeps M221B is a high-end, second-generation miniature tube condenser microphone known for its classic sound, particularly with acoustic instruments and classical recording. It features interchangeable capsules, a tube amplifier circuit based on the Telefunken AC701k tube, and is often considered a staple in high-end studios. The microphone was produced until 1985 and is valued for its smooth and rich tone.
