No need to contact your medium, these numbers tell you all the fuzz you need to hear.

From Danelectro -

Danelectro owner Steve Ridinger created the FOXX pedal line in the 1970s. Steve priced the FOXX Tone Machine at $49. Today the coveted originals sell for over $600, but we now offer Steve’s revamp of his original circuit with some major tweaks for 1/3rd the price. The Danelectro 3699 Fuzz features a significantly more pronounced octave (which is now footswitchable), a warmer overall tone, and a Mid-boost toggle to counteract the mid cut of the original pedal. Plug your guitar into the Danelectro 3699 Fuzz and bask in its velvety vintage tone.

Why call it the 3699 Fuzz?  Back in the 1970's, it was cool to have the phone number that spelled your product name. So about a year after launching the FOXX pedals, Steve sat down in front of a phone dial and worked out what numbers were needed to spell FOXX.  He figured out the numbers were 3-6-9-9.  To his amazment, this was the phone number FOXX already had!  A year earlier, the phone company had randomly assinged him the number.
