Original vintage Audix 35102 mic preamp/ equalizer input module pair, freshly serviced, racked by boutique audio & design in LA.

For the uninitiated, Audix and Neve both made consoles, and broadcast gear for the BBC, among others, and had neighboring factories! The 53102 is Identical to the Neve 33114, built to BBC spec, and uses the same marinar transformers, though the audix version is actually higher spec, class A, vs the class A/B Neve! Same EQ points and everything!

These units sound amazing on well, everything, as you’d expect, and the DI is amazing on bass. …AMAZING. Top quality rack up. Somehow, the audix version is still about 1/2 the $$ as the Neve. Let’s hope they stay that way!!
